Mitch received his Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University and his Masters of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. Mitch has worked in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy for 18 years. Throughout the course of his career he has received extensive training and continuing education in manual therapy and orthopedic exercise prescription. Mitch has particular interest and education in the construction of custom foot orthotics.
Mitch is an avid runner and hiker and has given numerous talks to running clubs and organizations regarding injury prevention, proper footwear, and running mechanics. Mitch is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Arizona Physical Therapy Association. In Mitch’s 18-year career, he has worked with numerous high school, collegiate, and professional athletes including members of Arizona State University, the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Arizona Cardinals.
Warren has owned and operated sports medicine/sports training facilities for over 20 years. He founded Rehab Plus Phoenix in 1985. Since its inception, Rehab Plus Phoenix has been nationally recognized for its successful physical therapy operations as well as its ability to attract a large population of professional, collegiate and Olympic athletes. Prior to his career in sports medicine, Warren coached football at the college and professional levels. He was also a strength and conditioning coach at the college and professional levels.
Warren earned his Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Illinois University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a member of the American Academy of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the American Medical and Fitness Association. He is a past Special Advisor to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness.
Warren is credited with starting the first NFL Combine training program in 1985 and has continued to operate these camps every year since. In that time he has worked with over 500 players that were drafted in the NFL, including 41 first round draft picks. In addition to working daily in the clinic with patients, Warren also runs speed and conditioning camps for the elite athlete population as well as a number of sports conditioning programs geared for the high school athlete.
Steve received both his Bachelor of Health Science as well as his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro School of Health Science in New York where he graduated with honors. Steve has extensive experience in the out-patient orthopedic and rehabilitation hospital setting. Before joining Rehab Plus Phoenix, Steve worked for St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in New York, which is regarded as one of Long Island’s premier rehabilitation hospitals. Steve gained valuable experience working hand in hand with physiatrist, neurologist, and orthopedic surgeons. At St. Charles Hospital, Steve treated a wide spectrum of patients, from orthopedic patients recovering from joint replacements and bone fractures, to neurological patients who have experienced stroke and spinal cord injuries. The great weather and endless outdoor activities have brought Steve to Arizona and his expertise to Rehab Plus Phoenix office.
Kim has worked 5 years with Rehab Plus Phoenix as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Kim is responsible for Rehab Plus’ high school outreach program. She is the head athletic trainer at a Phoenix-area high school and covers other various athletic events around Phoenix. Kim graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Canyon University where she was the head athletic training student for the men’s soccer and women’s basketball teams. Kim has worked with the United Spirit Association as an athletic trainer covering dance and cheer camps as well as competitions along the West coast.
Chad attended Arizona State University majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish. Chad assists in providing exercise protocols to our patients, post-rehab exercise programs, personal training, and sports performance training. Chad develops our sports camps and sports charitable programs, including work with Phoenix Suns charitable youth programs. He has extensive experience in orthopedics and strength and condition, working with all ages and sports. Growing up, Chad competed in BMX racing nationally, wrestled, and played football. Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. Chad has an amazing ability to relate to people of all walks of life and shows through his success with improving the health of our clients.
Jacqui received her Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science, Sport and Leisure Studies at Westfield State College in Massachusetts. During this time, she worked as a student athletic trainer for the Boston Marathon, Bay State Games, and USA Taekwondo. She also earned her emergency medical technician certification. She moved to Arizona in 2007 to earn her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training at A.T. Still University. She is a member of the professional education committee for the Arizona Athletic Training Association, during which time she has coordinated as well as presented at the High School Session of their Annual Winter Meeting. Jacqui is the athletic trainer for Coronado High School as part of Rehab Plus’ High School Outreach Program.
Jason graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Athletic Training and has been a valuable member of our team since 2011. He is a transplant from Illinois after spending 4 years with the Marine Corp. Jason is an avid football and baseball player growing up which has driven his passion to work with athletes at all levels. He has spent time working with the ASU football and track programs, Arizona Rattlers and MLB spring training. Jason has a 4 year old son and loves to spend time cooking and watching all levels of football. He currently serves as Arcadia High Schools athletic trainer as part of Rehab Plus’ High School Outreach Program. When you come by our Phoenix office you might mistake him for being the movie star Bradley Cooper.
